Software Policy

 

Software is a long term investment (10 years or more), and a major concern for the client is the long term support for both software and hardware.

 

Grovedime writes the software in-house using Borland C++ Builder and second sources software development as appropriate. As result more than one company is familiar with our software and they are able to offer software and hardware support.

 

Our software source code and the compilers and third party software are available on CD to all Grovedime clients.  This software source can be obtained by e-mailing or writing to Grovedime and agreeing to a simple non-disclosure agreement which in essence prohibits the use of this code for commercial purposes, and may only be used for maintenance or extension of existing installations.

 

Further more the software source and hardware designs may not be used for the above purpose if either Grovedime or an approved second source are available to offer support under normal commercial terms.

 

We have now appointed 2 Agents in the UK as full distributors of all Opus Professional hardware and software products and they are fully licensed to maintain all Opus Professional Software and Hardware including modifications to source code and graphical interfaces.
